I do not have any specific artistic training. Early 1990, I attended a training in an artist’s workshop in Florence (Italy), after quitting an administrative job which was too „claustrophic“ for me. I learned the principles of chiaro-scuro, perspective, drawings and paintings techniques. I copied many famous paintings, and damaged them purposefully, to be able to learn paintings restauration.
The need to go deeper into the comprehension of color as Energy arose after a personal research on subtle energies and the human magnetic field. Starting from color energy, my research broadened into the Quantic World, to Astronomy, Water, the Sacred Geometry, the Golden Section and, last but not least, Music.
In 2007, I bought and repaired an old violin and I took lessons to be able to play, Schubert’s “Ave Maria” one day. The result is a little embarrassing, but I discovered a true and reliable friend in this instrument.
All these fascinating researches led me to paint the Microcosmos and the Macrocosmos, and helped me change and broaden my inner space and transform the vision of my external world.
Painting to me is a way through which I can communicate and provoke emotions in me and in others.
I certainly could be born with other tools in order to apprehend and evolve in this world, but paintings and colours accompanied me and “hugged” me since childhood, and I’m grateful for that.
